Villa Malvies, in the village of that name, Is a three bedroom villa overlooking the vineyards of Chateau Guilhem and on towards the Pyrenees.
A large lounge has ample seating, a dining area and a desk for writing up the holiday diary or planning where to visit next. The kitchen has a washing machine and dishwasher, a large fridge freezer
and a breakfast table. The ground floor also houses one double bedroom and a twin room along with a family shower room and seperate toilet. The double bedroom has views from the double doors towards
the Pyrenees.
On the first floor is the master bedroom and en suite, both of which give access to a small balcony terrace. The en-suite has a jacuzzi for those who like bubbles as well as a shower. On the
landing is a seperate toilet and a day bed to laze on if the heat outside becomes too much.
Outside on the ground floor terrace is an eating area with gas barbecue and a seperate seating area with rattan sofa. Where better on a summer evening to enjoy the best of the food and wine of
Southern France whilst admiring the views.
Down below is the pool area. A 75m salt-chlorinated pool awaits you with sun loungers chairs and parasols for your comfort.
For those who want to explore the area Malvies is ideally situated to visit both the market town of Limoux and all of Carcassonne from the mediaevel city to the modern shopping areas. Beyond are the Black Mountains to the north and the Pyrenees to the south. The countryside is excellent both for walking and cycling, an abundance of Cathar History and canoeing and kayaking in the vicinity.
If having two distinguished vineyards on your doorstep, (Chateau Guilhem and La Louviere), wasn't enough you can walk through the vineyards to the restaurant at Domaine Gayda.
